About T.E.D Restaurant

T.E.D Restaurant has grown out of Think.Eat.Drink, a groundbreaking membership initiative which changes the way the food and drink industry approaches its supply chain – embracing those who wish to think, eat and drink more ethically.

T.E.D is the result of the long held dream of Jamie Grainger-Smith, an influential and innovative restaurateur, whose career spans more than 22 years. He has played key roles in the evolution of iconic restaurants such as Fifteen with Jamie Oliver, The River Cafe and Alastair Little Restaurant in Ladbroke Grove. He also co founded the much acclaimed Acorn House and the Waterhouse Restaurant in Hoxton.

T.E.D aims to deliver a unique atmosphere: clients will enjoy a stylish and relaxing restaurant experience where consistently delicious seasonal and ethically sourced Modern British food is served.

At the same time, with its easy access location in the thriving Kings Cross community, T.E.D is a place where people can get together to eat, drink and catch up away from the crowds, bang in the centre of London.

Testimonials

Below is a small selection of testimonials given from T.E.D Event’s clients!

Thank you and all your colleagues for making our party last Thursday such a huge success. The food and service were sublime.

Private Parties

The food was so amazing - I was tempted to pack up a couple of napkins to nibble on it on my way home! I’m sure we will definitely be in touch in the future for anymore events we hold- everyone loved the space, service and raved about the play station chairs!

Catriona Macrae-Gibson — Arts Council England

Dear Jamie,

Thank you so much for such a great event on Tuesday night. As I said to you Jamie, the food was excellent, hot, tasty, beautifully presented and with great service. As event professionals, we are a tough crowd to please and you all did a great job, so this is to say a big thank you to you and ALL the team, front of house AND back of house. Excellent teamwork and a great showcase event.  I was very impressed. Well done and you can be sure I will spread the word.

Emily Burns — Clownfish PR, On behalf of Levi’s

Private Parties

I’d also like to ask whether Think Eat Drink provides external catering outside of the venues it works in partnership with? I’ve been very impressed with the quality of the food provided, and the ethics match the culture of our organisation. I would like to recommend you as caterers, to other event manager colleagues.

Francois de la Croix-Vaubois – London Launch

Private Parties

It’s always a pleasure to work with Jamie and TED. The food is fantastic, set up is effortless, fast and discrete, and the service is as friendly as can be. A wholehearted recommendation for any catering needs.

Many thanks, - Pigalle – Events Manager – Timebank
